Dayton Right to Life Pro-Life Media Initiative Needs to Continue
According to an article published in the April 2006 edition of Pediatrics, it suggests that sexually explicit media messages may have more of an influence on behavior that originally thought. According to this study, young adolescents were more than twice as likely to have sex if they listened to or watched media that contained sexual content.

If the media influences our young people that explicitly, then pursuing positive pro-life educational and action messaging should continue.  Dayton Right to Life began a pro-life media campaign in January, despite lack of funds.  We felt it was important to reach young people with a supportive and positive pro-life message.  As a result, 451 phone calls were received in one month for women in crisis pregnancy situations.  This is over 100 calls per week from the Greater Dayton area.  Imagine a consistent pro-life message in our community.   The truth speaks loud and clear: let’s let the media work for us. JOIN OUR CIRCLE OF LIFE!

We have developed the Circle of Life to recognize those contributors who have made special provisions in their long range financial plans that will be able to continue to deliver the quality programs of Dayton Right to Life for future generations. As a member of the Circle of Life, you will be recognized annually at a social gathering. Individuals or couples can qualify to become members in one or more of the following ways:

Making an outright gift to the Greater Dayton Pro-Life Education Foundation Endowment Fund of money, securities, property or other marketable assets;

Creating a charitable remainder trust, pooled income fund or life estate gift to benefit the Greater Dayton Pro-Life Education Foundation Endowment Fund;

Naming the Greater Dayton Pro-Life Education Foundation Endowment Fund as a beneficiary of a new or existing life insurance policy;

Naming the Greater Dayton Pro-Life Education Foundation Endowment Fund to receive a bequest in a will or living trust.
