Who We Are
Dayton Right to Life is two organizations with one overarching mission:
to protect and promote human life through law, education, and community action
in Montgomery County and the surrounding Miami Valley area.
Our ultimate vision is a local area in which a culture of life prevails
and the community values the right to life in all its stages,
with special emphasis on the most vulnerable,
to include the pre-born and the aged.

What We Do
Our Foundation (a 501(c)(3) organization) has two principal objectives. The first objective is to educate local audiences, focusing primarily on churches, schools, and civic groups, about the challenges of protecting human life in today’s society, from conception to natural death. The second is to provide assistance to parents or guardians who are in need of support from before the birth of their child through age five.
It accomplishes these objectives primarily through the following programs:
All services are provided free of charge, thanks to the generosity of our donors. We are a resource to local families in need by providing information and education on other community assistance. We have served over 20,000 families and over 45,000 children through these programs.

Our Society (a 501(c)(4) organization) advocates for pro-life legislation and public policies at the local, state, and national levels. To this end, it also provides voter education information on candidates for public office. It accomplishes these objectives primarily as a member of the state-wide Right to Life Action Coalition of Ohio (RTLACO), of which Dayton Right to Life is a founding member through the following programs:
We have touched over two million people through our awareness booths, events, television and radio commercials.
We are a volunteer-driven organization with over 5,000 volunteers in our history. We have helped reduce the number of abortions in Montgomery County by 47% since 2001. |
