Our Fight for Life Rages On!
Abortion in the Miami Valley and Beyond
What We are Up Against
Martin Haskell
The one abortion clinic in Montgomery County is the notorious Women’s Med Center, owned and operated by the nationally known late-term abortionist Martin Haskell. Located on Stroop Road in Kettering, it is one of three facilities run by Haskell, including abortion clinics in Cincinnati and Indianapolis. Haskell has claimed credit for devising the grisly and now illegal partial birth abortion procedure, which he described at a 1992 National Abortion Federation Risk Management Seminar. He also coined the phrase “D&X” to identify the dilation and extraction procedure. Unfortunately, his popularity in the abortion community attracts women from all over Ohio as well as women who come from out of state. What is at stake? With the disappointing outcome of the Issue 1 special elections in 2023 enshrining the "right" to abortion in our state's constitution, our fight to protect life has become even more widespread and difficult. In spite of this increased difficulty, we continue to carry on and press on towards the goal of making abortion illegal at all stages of pregnancy. HAVE MARGIE CHECK |
