The Abstinence Resource Centre was created in response to a need for high quality, factual, user friendly resources related to sexual abstinence. Our goal is to assist providers and recipients by making educational materials accessible and decreasing duplication of efforts.
We believe true abstinence education is more than saying "No" to a behavior. It's about increasing self-awareness, self-respect, and self-control. Through this, young people can develop into happy, healthy adults.
We have a variety of resources available. Posters, bookmarks, brochures, pledge cards, incentive items, booth materials, ...if we don't have it, we'll help you find it!
We currently offer Fetal Development presentations throughout the Dayton area. We also have many abstinence-related teaching materials (curriculums, books, videos) available to check out from our resource library.
