Success Stories In 2009, over 1,100 students received Fetal Development presentations in schools throughout the Miami Valley. Both teachers and students comment that they enjoy our educator's energetic, visual and information-packed classes. One teacher wrote, She did a fantastic job and the youth were very attentive! A male student wrote, It made me rethink abstinence, and a female student wrote, I'm going to wait until marriage, but I'm excited because of how cool the baby is!

ARC promotes the healthiest choices for youth, families and communities by offering high-quality, factual resources related to sexual abstinence. Our goal is to promote the healthiest choice -- abstinence until marriage -- through education, consultation and support materials. We believe true abstinence education is more than saying "No" to a behavior. It's about increasing self-awareness, self-respect and self-control. As a result, young people can develop into healthy, thriving adults in successful relationships.
We have a variety of resources available, including posters, bookmarks, brochures, pledge cards, incentive items and booth materials. View our Products here. If we don't have it, we'll help you find it! ARC also has many abstinence-related teaching materials (curriculums, books, videos) available to check out from our resource library.
Fetal Development Presentations, with an emphasis on abstinence until marriage, are available free of charge for middle schools and high schools throughout the Dayton area. The presentation helps students realize their personal life stories from conception until birth. Students learn about chromosomes and genes, fertilization and the remarkable growth of a new life, the important stages of development, and birth. Each class is engaged through lively discussion, the use of Life Magazine photos, three-dimensional replicas of babies in various embryonic and fetal stages, and an ultrasound video showing the activity inside the womb from a four-week embryo's heartbeat and jumping movement seen at 10 weeks to the increased activity and growth of the third trimester. Our Fetal Development presentation inspires students to appreciate the intricate, amazing story that is life.
