The Stork’s Nest Baby Pantry has undergone a bit of a change lately, like the name for instance. Nothing terribly drastic though, we have simply been trying to regain focus on the reason it was started back in 1978. Its’ humble beginnings were to insure that babies would not go hungry or have to go with damp bottoms when times were difficult for a family who chose life and needed a little help. With that in mind, we hope to refocus our efforts on making sure that the items such as formula, baby food; stages 1 & 2 and diapers and wipes are available whenever anyone comes to us for them.

As we have been requesting of late, these are the main items we need to have for donations in order to continue to meet the needs of the increased number of clients coming to us for help. We still have some clothing and will continue for a time to take donated, gently-used clothes in sizes ranging from newborn to five-toddler. We are not really accepting books & toys any longer as we have space issues for storing things and would like to make use of the storage available for the basics, again, formula, diapers, etc.

We are also hoping a number of people feel compelled to assist us at the Stork’s Nest to serve the clients coming for these items. If you have an interest in doing this or helping to sort & hang clothing or mark the baby foods & formula with expiration dates, please call our offices at 937.461.3625. Our hours for receiving calls will be Monday through Friday from 10:00AM to 3:00 PM.

Thank you and we appreciate your prayers and continued support!

Luke 6:38 "Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure--pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return."
